I’m glad you’re here! I’m Courtney. I was born and raised in Washington State and specialize in family, newborn, maternity, and senior photography throughout the greater Seattle area, with availability for travel. I also take on a limited number of engagement sessions, weddings, and corporate sessions each year.

I began my photography business in 2014, just after the birth of our second daughter. At the time, I was navigating life with a newborn, a 17-month-old, and my camera always within reach, learning everything possible that I could. My 3 a.m. newborn feedings consisted of multitasking, rocking our babies while watching YouTube photography tutorials and doing Google searches consisting of questions like, “Why do my images look blue?” or “Why is there a black line on my photo?” Looking back, it was a full and demanding season that unexpectedly shaped the foundation of my career. What started as something unplanned has grown into a career that brings deep purpose, connection, and a perspective I’m endlessly grateful for.

Outside of photography, I’m a wife to the most supportive husband and a mom to two amazing daughters (6th and 7th grade) who constantly keep me grounded and inspired. I feel incredibly fortunate that this work allows me to pour creativity into my clients while building a life that feels meaningful and aligned with our family. My husband will often second shoot with me during special occasions, and together we tackle every day by trial and error, grace, and a lot of help from both sides of our families, who all live right next door to us, but that is a story for another time…
